Stillfire Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Six Wands Studios LLC ("we", "us", or "our") handles information for users of the Stillfire mobile and watch application ("App") and our website at sixwandsstudios.com ("Site"). Stillfire was built to keep your practice private: the App requires no account, and your practice data stays on your devices.

Information Stored on Your Device

Your practice history — completed sessions, journal entries, streaks, saved presets, rituals, forms, milestones, and collected hexagrams — is stored locally on your iPhone. This data is never transmitted to our servers. We do not have servers that receive it, and we cannot see it. If you delete the App, this data is deleted with it.

Apple Watch

If you use Stillfire on Apple Watch, presets and workout information move directly between your iPhone and your watch using Apple's Watch Connectivity framework. This transfer is device-to-device and does not pass through our systems.

Analytics

The App uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to help us understand how features are used — for example, how often a practice mode is started or completed. These signals are anonymized before they reach TelemetryDeck's servers: they contain no names, email addresses, precise locations, or the content of your journal, and TelemetryDeck does not store IP addresses. We see only aggregate counts, never individual users.

Information You Provide

If you contact our support team, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address and the content of your message. We use it only to respond to you.

What We Do Not Do

We do not sell personal information. We do not show ads. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or health data.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made so the App can unlock the corresponding features, but we do not receive your payment details.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, it will be promptly deleted.

Data Security

Because your practice data never leaves your device, its security is governed by your device's own protections, such as your passcode and device encryption. For the limited information we do handle (support email, anonymized analytics), we maintain reasonable safeguards. No security system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective upon posting. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
